From 11am-2 pm we will be hosting our Cajun Space Cowgirl Fais do do with Miss Effie Michot on live music and the Art Camp 504 families on hostessing. 2 pm official ribbon cutting of this years Mardi Gras house float which is themed Space.. get ready to take off in our rocket.

Join Us for a Special Celebration This Sunday!
A classic Fais do do from 11 till 2 pm. Come in costume and your best Cajun outer Soace cowgirl or cowboy. Dance lesson with Michelle at noon for beginners.
Gumbo and Red beans all day plus more
local food vendors TBA
At 2 PM, gather at the corner for an exciting performance and the official ribbon-cutting of our Mardi Gras 2025 house float, designed by the talented students and interns of Art Camp 504. Afterward, step inside for a day filled with crafts and activities the whole family can enjoy—friendly dogs are welcome too!
All proceeds raised during the event will support Art Camp 504’s Scholarship Program, helping us provide accessible arts education for kids and families. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to create long-term opportunities for working artists and inspire the next generation with after-school and summer programs that teach creativity and practical skills.
