This Thursday September 28, the Progression Music Series launches a new season of New Orleans-grown creative music in its new home at the Tigermen Den. The first edition features local songwriters Amythst Starr and George Wilde, and the series continues on the last Thursday of every month. Expect original music, experimentation, new projects and unlikely collaborations.

The long running non-genre specific creative music showcase was started in 2013 by Sasha Masakowski and most recently ran weekly at Chickie Wah Wah from Janurary-May 2023. The series is now curated by a collective of local creative musicians including: Byron Asher, Matt Booth, Rex Gregory, Toren Hardee, Sari Jordan, Sasha Masakowski, Emily Mikesell and Raph Zee.
